“My wife just gave birth to our second child and we decided to hire Annalee as our doula. Honestly, I didn’t think we needed one, believing that I could provide my wife with everything she needed, since I claim to be a very supportive/involved husband, but I was so wrong and it was honestly the best decision we ever made.

She was incredible - she knew counter pressure techniques to completely help my wife relax through contractions. She went to bat for us when our nurses and doctor wanted to use certain intervention techniques that we didn’t to go forward with. She also recommended other tactics / medication that our nurses didn’t. I was worried that she would be replacing me in the labor room, but instead Annalee and I worked together to give my wife the most pleasant experience possible, and I think it was a huge success.
